Materials
Silver: Sterling silver.
Gold-plated: Sterling silver plated in 3-micron 18kt yellow gold.
Gemstones: Lab-grown ruby, cubic zirconia emerald.
Dimensions
Generally fits an average sized ear and can be adjusted a little smaller or larger with one's hands.
However, if you have extra-dainty or extra-large ears, please make a note in the pop-up once Purchased.
Method
Once we have received your My-Mutation order, you will be sent a confirmation email with a more precise timeline and updates as it comes to life.
All pieces are hand-made in Paris, France.
Each Thin Cuff is cast from a mould using the lost-wax casting method and finished by hand.
The Thin Cuff with lab-grown ruby gemstones uses the cast-in-place method so each creature may appear slightly different than pictured.

Your Thin Cuff comes with a small polishing cloth to keep its shine.
Sterling Silver
Sterling silver tarnishes to varying degrees when exposed to water, air, sweat, chlorine and other chemicals for prolonged periods. Keeping your piece dry and storing it in an airtight container when not in use is highly recommended. If it becomes tarnished, a silver cleaning polishing cloth or silver cleaning solution will help. If your silver piece is in need of a deeper clean, we are happy to provide this complimentary service excluding postage.
Gemstones
Gemstones respond best to gentle wear as they risk being chipped from forceful contact or when dropped on hard surfaces. To maintain the sparkle of your gemstones at home, try a spray of glass cleaner and gently brush using a toothbrush and warm water. For a more thorough cleanse, we are happy to provide this complimentary service excluding postage.
